Description
Fibroblast cells from diabetic foot ulcers and non-diabetic feet were cultured on glass coverslips and treated with TGF-β1 to stimulate differentiation. Cells were then fixed, permeabilized, and stained for Collagen type-1 (GFP), which is excreted by maturing fibroblasts, and DNA (Dapi) in order to determine if the cell types excrete collagen differently in the presence of the differentiation signal.
