In this 1992 colored photograph, Westbrook College's Abplanalp Library technical services staff works at cataloging and processing new books purchased with collection development funds and grant awards in order to double the number of volumes making up the Library's collections. This was a five-year goal resulting from the College's transition from associate degree programs to baccalaureate degree programs and the newly built Abplanalp Library.

Technical Services staff from left to right includes: Judith Hanson, Technical Services Assistant; David Berona, Cataloger; and Deborah Wray, Secretary. David Berona stands in front of the Abplanalp Library's shelflist (catalog) which prior to the construction of the Abplanalp Library and the goal to double its collection had served as the public card catalog.
