Description

A pre-nursing curriculum was added in 1936 and a medical assistant program began in 1937. Both these curricula, and the medical secretarial program, required a Bacteriology Laboratory. In this photograph by Jackson-White of Portland, Maine, Dora Goud and Margaret Smith work in the Westbrook Junior College bacteriology lab.
