Description

Three students in protective lab coats are at work in the medical secretaries' laboratory on the second floor of Alumni Hall in the 1940s. One peers through a microscope, the second is filling test tubes, and the third places already-treated test tubes in an oven--a device to incubate cultures. The sterilizer stands to their right. This photograph was taken by Jackson-White of Portland, Maine.
