Description
Sadie Hawkes, Westbrook Seminary Class of 1877, is photographed on a carte de visite by J. H. Lamson, Photographer, Middle Street, Portland, Maine. On the back is written "Sadie Hawkes--Mrs. A. D. Woodbury." Sadie wears a white lace collar with a pin, and a long neck chain and earrings. Her hair is pulled to the nape of her neck and frizzed and curled at the top and sides.
