Description
A cabinet card photograph by Hearn of Portland, ME., has the following written on the back: May Cooper, 1883. May has a white lace collar band, held with a bar pin, above the neckline of her dark dress. She looks toward her left shoulder. Her hair is dark and slightly coiled on the top of her head; large pin curls lay across her forehead, almost to her eyebrows.
