The thirty-six members of the Westbrook Seminary, Class of 1924 pose in three rows on the College Green in their Commencement caps and gowns, in this photograph by Tisdale. The twenty-five males wear white shirts and ties beneath their gowns. The eleven females are standing in the middle row and wear white collarless dresses beneath their Commencement robes. Cap tassels hang over students' left shoulders.
The only identified graduate in this photo is Katherine Stevens Smith of Amherst, MA--second row, the 8th person from the left, the 6th person from the right. She was identified by family members from known photos of her.
The Class of 1924 was the next-to-the-last coeducational class to graduate from Westbrook Seminary.
