Eight Westbrook Seminary and Junior College faculty sit on the sand at a Saturday afternoon picnic at Cape Elizabeth, Maine, in this 1928 black & white off-campus excursion photograph. Wearing suits and dresses with nylons and cuban heel shoes, they stretch out their legs to catch the sun's rays, leaning back against a solid wooden rail.
Cottages, automobiles and a lone man can be seen beyond the rail.
