Westbrook Seminary and Junior College girls picnic around the stone fireplace and a makeshift picnic table at the back of the campus in this fall 1928 sepia toned photograph by Kahill-Spratt, Middle Street, Portland, Maine. The girls are standing and wear skirts, sweaters, long stockings and jackets; several wear tams or knit caps on their heads. Many backs are to the camera as they enjoy their food and drink.
In the background can be seen the wooden picket fence which separates the Campus from Evergreen cemetery.
