A Westbrook Junior College student dressed in riding clothes stands, cigarette in hand, against a white clapboard background in this deckled-edged, candid black and white glossy snapshot developed in May 1940 by Bicknell Photo Service .The young woman wears dark jodhpurs and a cardigan sweater with a white blouse collar showing at the neck of her sweater. Her hair is shoulder length and curled. She looks directly at the camera, head slightly cocked to the left.

Written on the back of the photo in pencil is Rusty Williams 1941; in ink is a ? and '41. Barbara (Rusty) Williams, WJC, Class of 1941 was a member of the Westbrook Junior College Riding Club both her freshman and senior years.
