Four Westbrook Junior College freshmen, books in arms, run across the campus Green in front of Proctor Hall in this September 1952 black and white photograph with the following written in pencil on the back: L To R: Pan [Adelaide] Miller--Bronxville, N.Y.; Judy Flint--Rowayton, Conn.; Judy Robbins--West Springfield, Mass.; Jeannine Prince--Manchester, N.H. The four young women wear white blouses, woolen skirts, and bobby sox with loafers. Their hairstyles are short and curly, parted to one side or the other. Each holds her stack of books in her left arm.
