Twelve members of the Westbrook Junior College Canter Club sit on and stand beside a round tufted couch in this black and white photo, by the Wendell White Studio, which appeared on page 86 of the 1957 Tower yearbook. First Row, Left to Right: Donna Elliot, Carol Shute, Linda Armstrong, Anne Hayden, Natalie Wilson, Judith Wanzer. Second Row: Patricia Mears, Judith Colwell, Ann Potter, Donna Hoffman, Carol Enos, Elizabeth Burbank.
The young women all wear white blazers with Westbrook Junior College patches on the left-hand breast pocket, wool skirts, and bobby socks with loafers or sneakers. During the 1956-57 academic year, "many breakfast and supper rides were held throughout the year with an added trip to New York's Madison Square Garden for the National Horse Show."
