Ten Westbrook Junior College students picnic on the grass in the front yard of "The Farm" in this candid black and white photograph taken in 1956. "The Farm" was located in Bridgton, Maine, and served as headquarters for The Outing Club's weekend trips, mountain-climbing and skiing. The young women wear shorts or slacks and sweaters for their al fresco dining.
