Description
Two Westbrook Junior College students stand at the "The Cafe" counter facing two "Cafe" waitresses in this black and white photograph published in the Tower yearbook on page 19. Labeled "Just Charge It" the photo shows a $ .20 purchase rung up on the cash register and the student customer signing a sales slip.
"The Cafe," as it was called in 1957, was in the basement of MacArthur Gymnasium, now the lower level quiet study area within the Abplanalp Library.
