Fourteen Westbrook Junior College Junior Deans sit in a semi-circle, legs crossed, hands folded in their laps, in this black and white photograph with 1959 written in green flair pen on the back. The fourteen young women wear black skirts and tops and shoes with white blazers and Junior Dean armbands.
According to the 1959 Tower yearbook: "The Westbrook Way is truly exemplified by the Junior Deans. These girls strive to set examples of friendliness, maturity, and loyalty to their school."
