Description
Five Westbrook Junior College students pose in a diagonal line in front of a floor to ceiling curtain in this black and white snapshot taken in a dormitory lounge or smoker, circa 1958. Four of the five young women wear skirts and white blouses with long sleeve sweaters--two are crew neck, two are cardigans. The fifth student wears a dark lab coat over her street clothes. All five wear loafers and bobby sox.
The young lady fourth from the left is Betty Bailey, WJC, Class of 1958. Betty was featured in an Admissions brochure, for which this snapshot may have been under consideration.
