Two Westbrook Junior College students wear their fur coats while standing knee-deep in the ocean at senior day at the beach in this 1957 black and white photograph. That June is not always perfect beach and picnic weather is demonstrated by Dorcas Marsaw (left) and Gail Andrews (right). "Dorkie," a pre-medical records librarian, and "Do-Do," a junior college general major, grin at the camera as they enjoy a WJC tradition that occurred just before Commencement.
