Description

Five Westbrook Junior College students pose in front of a curtained dormitory window in this 1963 sepia toned photograph. The "modern" dormitory room is probably in Linnell Hall which was built in 1963 and named after William S. Linnell, a former president of the Board of Trustees. Two beds, a desk and chair, and wall shelving are visible. The floor is covered with dark vinyl squares. The picture window curtain has a light background with linear and triangle abstract designs.

The five young women all wear dresses and nylons. Their hairstyles are short and curly. Seated at the desk is Victoria Brandt (Miele), WJC, Class of 1963, and a UNE Trustee.
