In 1951 the Westbrook Junior College Science Club was one of the more recently developed clubs on campus. Among the activities of the club was a trip to Harvard Museum in Boston, sponsorship of more than a dozen films, a field trip to a prominent hospital in the vicinity, and a Science Fair with exhibits by students in chemistry, bacteriology, zoology, anatomy, psychology and physiology.
