This promotional photograph appeared in The Alumnae News, October 1963. It was headed with the statement, "These Freshmen Chose Maine and WJC". There are two circles of students, one inside the other. In the outer circle, beginning with the blonde student in a light colored blouse with a pattern of rectangles, dots and other shapes, are Dudley S. Patten, Susan A. Lancaster, Evalyn M. Slater, Robin D. Schofield, Margaret L. Taber, Shirley J. Pray, Evelyn C. Laidlaw, Marjorie L. Steiger, Jane A. Tracy, Yvonne Whiting, Cathy T. Borden, Angela Mooallum, Linda C. Cella and Ruth C. Armstrong. In the inner circle, beginning with the student at top with the light colored (white ?) cardigan, are Janet C. White, Beverly Ann Davidson, Martha E. Harmon, Bonnie L. Olf, Penelope E. Evans, Joan L. Osborn, Joan M. Hamm and Laurie R. DeCarolis. They are all wearing their Westbrook Junior College beanies.
