Four Westbrook College students sit on beds and desk and floor of a dormitory room in Ginn-McDougall Hall in this 1970s black and white glossy photo by Ellis Herwig Photography, Cambridge, Mass. The four young women wear jeans and long sleeve shirts. Two have t-shirts over their long sleeve shirts. One wears a bandana over her hair. The girl perched on the desk wears Dr. Scholl's sandals.

The dorm room boasts book shelves and peg board walls covered with posters, pyschedelic bedspreads, a stereo record player on a batik covered table, a fishing net draped from the ceiling, and beer bottles lining the picture-window sill. Additional decorations and comforts include a pair of Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls on the bed and a God's Eye craft hanging from the drapery rod in front of the window.
