This handout provides the audience with information about the importance of portion control for healthy weight maintenance. It clears up the confusion between portion and serving. It also provides portion control strategies for eating at home and at restaurants. It briefly states how portion distortion contributes to overweight and obesity and encourages readers to implement the strategies for portion control.
