Description

The Alumni Hall cupola was constructed in 1825 and originally located in what is now Portland's Monument Square. It topped Portland's Market House until 1832. When the Market House was remodeled into Portland's first City Hall, it was removed and reused two years later in 1834 on Westbrook Seminary’s classroom building.
