Description

In the 1890s a new chemistry laboratory was installed in the basement of Alumni Hall. The two boys in lab coats in this 1904 photograph of the Westbrook Seminary chemistry laboratory are Frederick Pride, who became a druggist in Portland, and Ricardo Geronimo Valladares, who became a doctor in Cuba.
