A cabinet card photograph by Lamson of Portland, ME., has the following written on the back: Florence A. Lowell, South Portland, Maine, Westbrook Seminary. Florence wears steel-rimmed glasses and looks toward her left shoulder. Her dark hair is pulled to the back and curled over her forehead. She wears a dark dress with a knotted dark lace scarf around her neck with a stick pin through the knot. Two bands of lace extend from her shoulders down the front of her dress.
