Description

Twenty-one young Westbrook Junior College women stand informally in the doorway and on the steps at the Alumni Hall entrance in this ca.1936 sepia toned photograph by Kahill Photo Studios, Portland, Maine. Most cradle books and notebooks in their arms and wear nylons and low heel shoes. Many sport bobbed hair cuts. The young women wear open jackets and coats over their skirts & sweaters and jumpers. Four wear leather jackets and two have on dark peacoats. All are smiling and chatting with each other.
