Description

Two unidentified Westbrook Junior College students lie face down on the beach and sand while on their Class of 1948 boat trip in this pale sepia toned snapshot photographed by Allegra Mercedes Anderson. Both young women wear shorts and halter tops and have a pile of additional clothing beside them in the sand. The legs of a third girl and the head of a fourth are barely visible on either side of the two sunbathers. A paper lunch bag and a white sailor hat are in the foreground while a line of scrub pines outlines the beach in the background.
