Description

Sixteen Westbrook Junior College students lounge in their pajamas in this sepia toned candid snapshot taken in Hersey Hall dormitory in 1949. Dressed in house coats and robes with scarfs covering their pin curls, the girls laugh and grin at the camera. They squeeze together and lean back against each other in an attempt to be seen.

Written in black ink on the back of the photograph is: "Front to Back l to r. Jean Clark, Phylis Fritz, Ruth Du Val, Burt Rice, Ginny Beckly, Sis Rowley, Joyce Masilorte, Arlene Grossman, Jean McDonald, Claudette Been, Eva Gibessore, Lynn Courtney, Marion Murphy, Kay Bullard, Me, Shirley Jones"
