Description

Five Westbrook Junior College dental hygiene students work in the DH Clinic (Coleman Building) in this ca. 1962 black and white photograph which shows Gail Purrington, first director of the Dental Hygiene program, in the background on the right. The student in the foreground sits to the right of her pediatric patient. Other student dental hygienists stand at their work stations. All wear white dress uniforms, white shoes and caps, with the exception of Miss Purrington who has a white lab coat over her uniform dress.
