Five Westbrook College fashion merchandising students pose in vintage costumes from the Fashion History Collection, in this 1970s black and white photograph. The five young women pose in Cahner's Lounge. Three sit on a love seat and chair, while two stand. Each wears a 1920s style dress with matching hose and square-toed shoes with small heels. Three dresses are pale in color and two are darker in color.
The Fashion History Collection was curated by FM faculty member Jacqueline Field and was an integral part of the Merchandising / Retailing curriculum during the 1970s and 1980s. In the 1990s the Collection was given to Maine Historical Society.
