Description

A Westbrook College recreation and leadership student sits on the floor with a preschooler and plays a vinyl record on a turntable in this 1970s black and white photograph. The "rec leadership" student wears jeans and a sweater / jersey and sits cross legged in front of the record turntable. The preschooler sits cross legged in the student's lap.

The preschooler has a pageboy haircut. The student has a band of ribbon in her hair to hold it behind her ears. Heads together, the two pay strict attention to the vinyl record and turntable which the student is adjusting with her right hand.

A volleyball net and stands, and additional sports equipment in the background, along with dark stripes painted on the hardwood floor suggest McArthur Gymnasium as the location for this photo.
