Description

A Westbrook College recreation and leadership student instructs an elementary school-age youngster in jumping through hoops in this 1970s black and white photograph taken in McArthur Gymnasium. The 'rec leadership' student wears slacks with a blouse and crew neck sweater. She holds a hoop in front of herself and prepares to jump through it.

The youngster wears bell-bottom pants and a crazy print shirt. He/she has just begun a jump through a hoop. Flying hair and a wide-open mouth emphasize the fun he/she is having with this hoop jumping game.
