Description

Five Westbrook Junior College students, each wearing a warm and colorful ski sweater, lean against a snow bank in a shoulder-to-shoulder line in this 1957 sepia toned photograph with "Property of Physical Education Dept." written on the back in blue ink. Leaning on their elbows with hands tightly folded in front of them, the five young women grin happily at the camera--perhaps delighted to be a part of this campus snow scene. Three of the girls wear gloves, while two have bare hands. All are bare-headed.

L - R: Peggy Whittaker Ayotte, Jane Genthner De Courcy, Nancy Buschenfeldt Saunders, Faith Hutchins Webster, and Geraldine (Jerri) Johnson.
