Description
Freshman students grilling chicken and having a laugh at what was referred to as "that day at the beach" in September 1968. They are from left to right, Patricia Flanagan, Sarah Conant, Rebecca Kierstead, Elizabeth Ellis and Nancy McMullin. They are all from the Class of 1970.
On September 18, 1968, a holiday was declared and about 500 students and faculty went on an outing to Crescent Beach and park.
