Description of Work
This essay was written following a memorable patient encounter as a budding 3rd year medical student. The objective of the paper is to shed light on some of the behind-the-scene happenings following a breast cancer diagnosis. I am grateful for the lessons my patients have taught me, and especially to my patient in this essay, so early in my clinical career.
