Description of Work

There is an admirable, yet deeply poignant tendency for those studying and working in healthcare fields to have an inherent desire to help others, often to the detriment of their own wellbeing. This short piece is a suggestion to fellow peers in healthcare to remember that in order to bring healing to those around us, we must first heal ourselves. For me, this has meant taking the time to see loved ones, dance, and delight in the beauty that surrounds us all.
