Title of Work
Description of Work
As I sit contentedly by the warm fire listening to the wind howling outside, I say a quiet prayer of thanks for my many gifts and blessings. Then, starkly I am reminded of the bitter cold and the hunger that millions of people experience everyday. Out on the vast prairies and in the cities and--yes, here in Maine and all across the United States of America--we have "third world countries" amongst us. What can I do? What should I do? I should start by doing something--anything! There is so much that I need to do. Healing begins by giving.
