Description
This is an informational handout covering the traditional cuisines of various regions throughout the Indian subcontinent. Religious influences regarding food choice and fasting, traditional health beliefs, eating patterns and etiquette, and common health issues experienced by the Indian population who acculturate to American culture are discussed.
