Description
This handout informs the audience about the strategies and tips towards making changes to lifestyle for their adolescents who may face or already face Type 2 Diabetes. Informs audience about healthy food choices including fruits, vegetables, lean protein meats and fish. Making default choices based on good feelings, can have favorite foods but in moderation and portions. Parents help children plan and prepare meals. Keep the kitchen stocked with healthy foods and keep processed foods out.
