Description
Suicidality Prevention: Insights from the Literature was developed through a University of New England Graduate Public Health Applied Practice Experience to support community-based suicide prevention efforts. This evidence-informed resource integrates published research, demographic trend analysis, and public health best practices to examine factors associated with suicidality across multiple age groups. The project highlights opportunities for prevention, strategic planning, and intervention while demonstrating the application of public health competencies in literature review, data interpretation, knowledge translation, and professional communication. Designed for practitioners, organizations, and community stakeholders, the presentation translates complex evidence into an accessible format that can inform prevention initiatives and public health decision-making.
