View of the ruins of Teotihuacan, just northeast of Mexico City. This "Place of the Gods," as the Aztecs called it, is one of the most important archeological sites in Mexico. Its large structures date back to before the 3rd century A.D., and the city may have had a population as large as 200,000 people.
