Description

A pack of the native Mexican dog, called Xoloitzcuintli, or Xolo for short. Its name is from the Aztec language, Nahuatl: the god Xolotl and Itzcuintli 'dog'. The Xolo (pronounced "sholo") is known for its calmness and alertness, and is a good watchdog. There is a hairless and coated variety. The pack in this photo is the hairless variety.
