Description
Three Westbrook Junior College students concentrate in music class in the first floor Alumni Hall music classroom. After laboratories had been moved in 1967 to the Blewett Science Center, Alumni Hall was refitted for the humanities. Students in this Wendell White Studio, Portland, Maine, photograph are sitting in metal tablet arm desk chairs. The middle student has a small box of 'kleenex' in front of her--does she suffer from a cold or allergies, or does she anticipate being moved to tears by the music upon which she concentrates?
