Description

Three Westbrook Junior College students stand shoulder-to-shoulder, hands in their coat pockets, in this deckled-edged, candid black and white glossy snapshot developed in May 1940 by Bicknell Photo Service. Written on the back of the photo in pencil is Betty Morton '41; Helen Hastings '41; and Mary Davis '41.

All three young women were members of the Westbrook Junior College Riding Club their freshman and senior years. One wonders if the photo background could possibly be the Stroudwater Riding School and/or if the three young women appear in any of the horseback riding deckled-edged photos also developed in May 1940 by Bicknell.
