Description
This handout is designed to help an adolescent girl start making positive changes in her own life. The key pieces of advice are: be an active participant in your health decisions, eat more fruits and vegetables, eat breakfast, don’t make foods forbidden, limit soda intake, eat heart-healthy foods rich in potassium, fiber, magnesium, and calcium, low-sodium foods and beverages without caffeine.
