Description
A presentation representing an interprofessional approach to care for a native Mainer living with chronic pain due to her diagnoses of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Through the adapting public health problem solving paradigm in interprofessional team training (PHIT) program, UNE students from various disciplines used the Guyer (1998) public health problem solving paradigm model to develop an approach to providing care for a patient living with chronic pain from rheumatoid arthritis. The team created a patient profile, developed a patient-centered framework, and identified patient needs and development of potential interventions utilizing each student’s knowledge-base.
