Stanley W. Kimball D.O. was born in Grafton, New Hampshire on April 3, 1917. As a child he suffered from whooping cough and his treatment by his aunt Anna Tinkham, D.O. inspired him to pursue the Osteopathic profession. Dr. Kimball attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute before transferring to Colby College and graduated in 1940. In 1943 he graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathy. Dr. Kimball’s specialty was radiology and he was the chief radiologist at Richmond Heights General Hospital in Cleveland for many years.
The Stanley Kimball, D.O. collection contains a combination of materials collected by Dr. Kimball as well as records collected by his aunt Anna Tinkham, D.O., a practicing D.O. in Waltham, Massachusetts.
