Description
The exhibit From Scribes to Scrawlers: Handwriting in America was on display at UNE in 2018. The exhibit included samples of handwriting through the ages – from an 1809 letter from Mary Parker to her friend Harriet Payson Flagg, to modern day notes written to and from Donna Loring. Educational panels covered the history of writing, cursive education in America, and how technology shapes the way we write.
