Description
The back exterior of Westbrook College's Abplanalp Library, which includes the Maine Women Writers Collection wing, is shown under construction in this 1986 black and white photograph. Visible in the center of the photo is what will be the MWWC patio, the Sarton Room and the Calvert Room. The cement walls surrounding that corner of the building will be the "walls" of the handicapped ramp and the sides of the stairs leading from the parking lot to the Courtyard.
