Description
After laboratories had been removed in 1967, Alumni Hall was refitted as a home for the humanities. This photograph by Ellis Herwig Photography of Cambridge, Mass., shows the tiers constructed to hold student seating. Faculty member Richard Roberts taught on campus, 1958-2001, directing music and giving sections of the culture-oriented history course once required of all students. It was within this classroom, too, that Faculty Senate held its monthly meetings throughout the 1970s, 80s, and 90s.
